A Much Needed "Time Out"

I went to Time Out For Women last weekend with my friend Chelsey and my sister Valerie.

As usual, it was GREAT!

Friday night was amazing. Laurel Christensen said some profound things.

At one point, she talked about an experience on the Biggest Loser Resort Fitness Center.

She had to do 5 rounds on the treadmill, each time getting faster.

At 2.5 minutes every round she just thought she'd die! She was about to quit, when each time

her trainer would run and jump on her treadmill and shout,

"DON'T YOU DARE BE THE ONE THING STANDING IN YOUR WAY!

FINISH THIS!"

I loved that! I decided that I would quit being the one thing standing in my way!

She also said some things that I needed to hear exactly that day and at that time.

Brad Wilcox was amazing as usual. He is such a sweet man!

My favorite quote of his, "Jesus chose to become like us so we could choose to become like Him."

Saturday Valerie scored seats 2 rows behind my BFF as Jarom calls her ;)

HILARY WEEKS!!

Kris really is HILARIOUS!

She's been through more than I can imagine and has come out on top and finds humor in trials now.

It was such a fun time!

If you've never gone, I suggest changing things and going!

I go every year.
