Time to catch up (not the kind you put on fries)

I haven't posted since the beginning of June...which is only 2 months but in my picture taking/sharing that is a lot of pictures!
This is Brooke and Grapa Skyler feeding the goats at Rebecca's house
Braden posing on a cool branch my dad found while we were camping

Hilarious!

Love the view from my inlaw's house in Duncan

Braden and Dad watching the parade
Brooke dancing to the music!

Wearin Grapa Lunt's hat "I'm a cowboy that's a girl!"

She loved this big truck the most!

Love

Us in our JJL's as Brooke calls our TShirts. She's proud to advertise for dad :)
I love that they play and entertain each other now!

Braden has this thing with trying to eat the keyhole on Jarom's desk. It's pretty hilarious!

My dad was cutting the foam that was hanging over and when he left Braden went and found a play knife and started copying him.

I started taking advantage of the HOT sun and hanging most of our clothes. It's easy, quick, saves money, and Brooke likes to help!

Brooke's first experience with Silly String. She wasn't quite sure what to think!

Brooke was running and tripped, hitting the corner of the window sill. She dented the corner bead thats how hard she hit! I tried hitting it with my fist and couldn't dent it! OUCH!! It was a nasty, bloody hamburger of a cut....blah...

Braden's first few steps in July

Brooke painting the pantry that Jarom built in our kitchen. When he finished she said, "Mom, look at the new house! Oooo, what a pretty door!"

On the way to lunch at "Grapa's old school." We took advantage of the free lunch program this summer. They loved it!

Brooke lickin the whip cream bowl clean!
A day at the park with Gramma Wanna

Well, there ya go. If you made it through, good job! Hopefully I can keep up to date so I can give more details with each picture. Can't believe Brooke is 2 and Braden will be 1 in 6 days! We are lovin life and learning everyday. The kids amaze me. They are so smart, funny, and kind. I am truly blessed with great kids. Jarom has stayed busy and has been a business owner for 1.5 years now! We count our blessings and are grateful for good friends and family who support us!

Baby Brooke

My little buddy is 2!!
So many emotions in this picture. I had no idea what I had in store. The joys, fears, excitement, frustration, and other emotions that I have experienced as a mom. It is definitly the greatest calling on earth. Hardest, but greatest. At times I feel overwhelmed and not qualified, but then I get a hug from Brooke and she tells me that she loves my guts more and suddenly life is ok.
Jarom, Brooke, and Dr. Tran 7-28-07

I took the following shots in Duncan for her 2 year pictures-love my little model!
She could hardly take her hands away from her nose because the smell from
the dairy farm was so strong!! I don't blame her...I could hardly breathe...haha

These pictures of Brooke's birthday parties are a little out of order but you'll get the idea...
She got a piggy bank for her bday and loved filling it up,
but got mad when she couldn't get the money out!! WHAT?!
Braden LOVED singing with the kids at her party-he was beaming!

I must admit, I love my little girl!
~She loves to sing! Her new favorite song is the star spangled banner and she sings it ALL DAY LONG! She also loves to sing I love to see the temple, I am a child of God, Daughter of a King, My Heavenly Father Loves me.
~She is a great helper with her brother. She doesn't come running to me to tattle, but will try to help him out of the situation he is in.
~She talks amazingly well. Her vocabulary is huge.
~She loves to recite the ABC's and count.
~She keeps us laughing and on our toes. I can't wait for the next year of growth.

So much more

Here are a few (of the 400 pictures) that I took at Girls' Camp. Don't know if you just listen more to the Spirit as a leader, but this year was exceptional. It was so much more than a fun week at camp. I learned and re learned things that have changed my life greatly. I am so thankful I had the chance to be a part of that great experience.

But it's not all serious right? What's camp without a little chubby bunny? Huh?
This is me attempting chubby bunny with grapes (a pastime of Chelsey and mine).
This is about 20 grapes...
Beat my old record at 31 grapes!!! CHUBBY BUNNY!
If you look close you can see the drool...

Our Prince Charmings, Bro. Ferguson, Bro. Bingham, Pres. Peck, and Pres. Sanders!

Prince Charming and Fairy Godmother
Love these guys!

The wonderful YCLs. I made some great new friends!

Ok, onto one of the greatest experiences. It is hard for me to try and explain the feelings I had this day. We had a virtue hike and a talk from Pres. Sanders. We then gave each girl a flag and walked up to Virtue Peak where Sister Konopnicki challenged each of us to live the words of the YW theme. We then each planted a flag to symbolize this promise. Pres. Sanders then dedicated the hillside as Virtue Peak and shared some wonderful words with us, afterwhich the big virtue flag was hoisted up.

I know that I can't relay the feeling that was there. I don't really feel like I should try either, as this is a public blog and the thoughts and feelings there are so very special. I wouldn't mind sharing them one on one but for the sake of this blog will say that my life will forever be different because of this day.

One thing I learned that I will share is that we are not born with virtue. It is something earned...therefore, if we lose it, we can get it back!

Hence the words on the flags, "Return to Virtue"

Good ol' Pres. Peck had the spirit stick handed down
to him and represented very well!
Love President Sanders! Filled the shoes in the tu-ti-ta
exceptionally well and even added a booty shake at the end!

Me, Brooke, and Annie....Trouble!
LOVE these two!

When you steal my camera and take random pictures,
they're gonna end up on a public blog so WATCH OUT!!

Jody and Karen (Queen 1 and Queen 2) Love the good
ol hugs you get and give at camp. Why can't we be that
loving back at home?
HaHa, Even the Stake President must bow to the
QUEEN! HAHA, love ya Jody!
What a fun group!
I forgot to mention what the theme was this year- "Daughter of a King" Does it get any better than that? Sister K. said something along these lines, "when we truly know who we are, temptation loses its power." I believe that! I have felt that! I am a Daughter of a King and from this day forward I hope to act like I am!
I had an overall great experience-obviously :) I think that camp has become so much more spiritual as the world has become so much more wicked. We have to arm ourselves and the youth every chance we can!
I wish I had the time to upload all the pictures...I could have a blog just dedicated to that!
