Brooke was acting silly clapping for herself and dancing when she stepped too close to the edge and took a spill. Luckily Grandpa caught her before she hit the floor.

Brooke's new thing is to pretend like she's sleeping. She'll call our name, "Mommy, Daddy, I seeping." She thinks she is so tricky! She wanted to pretend like she was sleeping in Braden's crib.

This is only like the third time Braden has eaten cereal and he was going to town! It was hilarious. He would dive for the spoon. It jabbed him in the mouth a couple times because he would dive so hard for it.

Brooke was feeding Braden and I left the room for a second. When I came back this is what I found. I was angry when I first saw it then I couldn't help laugh and take a picture!

She picked up the guitar and played it right. Her fingers were moving on the colored keys while she was strummin with the other hand. It was pretty impressive. You think that shows that she has seen us play too much?!

First haircut and more

Brooke's new love are marshmallows! She is definitly my kid! Here she got some marshmallows for going in the potty. She asked for a cup instead of getting them in her hand and then she started yelling, "I'm drinking! I'm drinking marshmallows!" She thought she was so hilarious, and actually, she was!

Brooke watched me lift weights for the first time and insisted on doing it herself. I got some cute video I'll have to post later but this is her showing off her big muscles!

We had fun at the park with some friends and these are some fun pictures of it!

Brooke got her first official haircut last weekend. She has had her bangs trimmed once but this was the real deal! Her cousin Erin cut it. She was a little unsure what was going on but she did good and even faked some smiles for the camera!

I got this red football outfit at Walmart so the kids would have something red to wear to the Duncan sports games. Come to find out it is Jarom's football number from High School! I knew that!

New Year

The other day on TV a reporter asked Will Smith what his New Year's resolutions were and he said that anything important enough to start at the new year you should've been doing already! HAHA...Isn't that true! So instead of posting new year's resolutions, I will just post some fun that we've been having so far this year! (I do have resolutions-stuff I should've been doing anyway-but hopefully this year it will last all year and into next! Since next year is really only a flip of the calendar!)

Time flies! Just yesterday we were all single runnin around causin trouble! Now we are all three married with kids, still runnin around causin trouble!

Brooke decided it was time for Braden to learn how to walk. After about 3 steps she decided it was taking too long and tried to pick him up and walk.

This is a nebulizer for those of you who don't know. We were trying to get Brooke to quit barkin like a dog. The eyes couldn't have been better huh. Not that I'm implying that she is smokin dope or anything ;)

Brooke is crackin us up these days! She is talking very well. She will tell us exactly what she wants, how she feels, etc. For example-the other day she woke up for the morning. She sat straight up in bed, said, "mom?" I went in there and said "what honey?" to which she replied, "Macaroni?" HAHAHAHA! That's my girl! So we ate Mac and Cheese for breakfast! Love her! She is my little shadow. Sometimes it gets frustrating tripping over her all day, but then she gets sick or sad and I remember how much I absolutely ADORE her! She is my little buddy! I'll have to post some videos. Her snowman song is hilarious.

Braden is growing like a weed! A big weed! He already weighs 18 pounds and isn't even 5 months yet! He is wearing 9-12 month clothes too! Today I was washing dishes and had him in the other room in the walker. I could see him through the doorway. I turned around and he was gone! Brooke was in with me so I panicked! I ran in there and he was about 5 feet away from where I'd left him. He started scooting backwards! He is a roller and is even starting to army crawl! Ah! Where has the time gone?! Just 4 months ago I thought we'd never get over the hurdles we were faced with. Looking back now there were great lessons learned and now life is moving along fast! Real Fast!
